The Diamond Fantasy Shawl or Scarf is designed for fingering or sport weight yarn and takes 350 yards of yarn for the scarf (shown) and 750 yards for the shawl.

The scarf shown above is done in Fleece Artist Merino, a beautiful handpainted fingering weight yarn. This sample required one 100g skein. Shown below is a scarf done with one 50g skein of Handmaiden 2-ply cashmere.

This shawl or scarf could also be knitted in a finer laceweight yarn which may require extra repeats of the pattern (and slightly more yarn, of course).

Dimensions: 50" wide at top, 22" from top to tip (scarf)
78" wide at top, 34" from top to tip (shawl)
